Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; 2 years related work experience acceptable as equivalency.
• 2 years of experience in small group marketing, membership, underwriting, or customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication, judgment, and discretion with confidential data.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review forms and documents for completeness; contact groups for missing information.
• Perform initial underwriting review and request medical records as needed.
• Review workers' comp rating and retrieve claims history information.
• Handle inquiries from agents, groups, and customers and coordinate training needs.
