HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Reservations professional to oversee day-to-day operations for group room blocks, input guest reservations, and maximize occupancy and revenue. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, reporting, and forecast preparation.

Candidates should have hotel experience, strong guest relations, and proficiency with MS Office; effective communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to deal with guest and associate concerns in a friendly and proactive way.
• Ability to read/input information in a moderately complex computer system including MS Office.
• Ability to perform accurate 10-key calculations.
• Analytical ability to assess reservation trends and make related decisions.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient operation of Reservations Department.
• Monitor inventory and yield management to maximize occupancy and rate.
• Process group rooming lists and reservations in the system.
• Prepare rooms reports to analyze sources of business.
• Assist in developing monthly/annual forecasts for Rooms.
• Communicate directions to staff clearly in writing and verbally.
• Maintain attendance and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
