Job summary

InterContinental Miami, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a Front Office Room Controller to coordinate reservations, blocks and contracts for large groups. You will check in/out guests, manage payments, and ensure smooth operations in a luxury setting overlooking Biscayne Bay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
• Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously for reservations.
• Assist with FIT/Wholesale reservations; handle airline crew reservations daily.
• Assign rooms for loyalty members and manage group blocks.
• Audit turnovers and maintain group booking notes and deposits.
• Process and respond to guest inquiries via email and extranets.
• Upsell rooms to maximize revenue and ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain and update group history and billing information.
