Job summary

Beech Mountain Resort is seeking a Group Sales Cashier to blend guest services with group reservations support. In this role you will help book, prepare, and manage group visits while assisting guests at the counter and selling resort products.

You will communicate with group leaders by phone and email to gather information, review upcoming reservations for accuracy, prepare materials, assist with check-in, and process payments with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with booking and managing group reservations.
• Communicate with group leaders by phone and email to gather reservation information and answer questions.
• Review upcoming group reservations to ensure details, products, participant counts and other information are accurate.
• Prepare group reservations and materials prior to arrival.
• Assist with group check in and make sure groups have what they need when they arrive.
• Process group payments and maintain accurate reservation and payment information.
• Communicate group details, changes and special needs to the Group Sales Manager and appropriate resort departments.
• Follow up on missing information and identify potential reservation issues before a group’s arrival.
• Maintain organized and accurate group records.
• Work within Guest Services and assist guests at the counter.
• Sell lift tickets, season passes and other resort products.
• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Assist with season pass fulfillment and guest accounts.
• Answer questions about tickets, rentals, lessons, dining, events and resort operations.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of Beech Mountain Resort and confidently share that information with guests.
• Help troubleshoot guest concerns and know when to involve a supervisor.
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate resort information.
• Work collaboratively with Group Sales, Guest Services and other resort departments.
• Assist wherever needed during busy periods.
