Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of product development leadership and 7 years as a product manager in a modern tech business.
• Experience leading complex, cross-team initiatives from ideation to execution.
• You've led technical products and/or have a background in computer science (or similar).
• Experience building new products (0 to 1) and shipping improvements at scale.
• High bar for product quality and user experience; able to break down ambiguous problems.
• Strong problem-solving and deep user empathy; excellent advocacy skills.
• Experience coaching and mentoring individual contributors.
• Experience with platform development a plus.
• Experience at high-growth companies is preferred; founder/GM capacity is a plus.
• Experience building products in highly regulated domains (fintech/healthcare) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for Product Foundations squads.
• Align strategy and execution by turning company objectives into actionable team goals and OKRs.
• Partner deeply with other Technology teams, Marketing, and Revenue leadership to develop a best-in-class user experience inside and outside Justwork’s product.
• Ensure products and features are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
• Lead customer-focused product development from ideation to execution while ensuring the customer’s voice guides scope and priorities.
• Build and coach your team in customer-centric practices, promoting consistent, customer-driven processes throughout the PDLC.
• Improve product performance by analyzing launch results and metrics, gathering feedback and planning iterative enhancements.
• Advocate for robust technical roadmaps by understanding engineering perspectives and balancing technical debt.
• Communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership, providing updates on product status, timelines, and blockers.
• Proactively take on opportunities beyond core responsibilities to support product strategy and drive impact.
