Job summary

Coinbase is a remote-first company reshaping the future of finance. As a Group Product Manager on the FinHub team within Platform, you will own the systems ensuring every fund flow reaches a correct terminal state—controls that stop unsafe movement, detection that catches slips, and remediation that recovers it.

You will define the multi-rail reliability strategy, establish control ownership with Compliance and Finance, and drive improvements across fiat and crypto flows at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in money movement, payments infrastructure, ledgering, or financial platforms at scale.
• Track record owning strategy for large-scale money movement, payments processing, ledgers, or reconciliation.
• Deep technical fluency in distributed systems, event streaming, idempotency, double-entry ledgering, reconciliation, and control design.
• Experience setting standards across teams in highly regulated environments.
• Experience with generative AI responsibly, with human oversight for business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year vision and strategy for money movement reliability and controls across fiat and crypto.
• Build the controls infrastructure for risk, compliance, and financial controls per flow.
• Drive real-time detection and end-to-end tracing across rails, blockchain networks, controls, and ledger.
• Scale correctness with AI agents that propose controls and triage alerts within governed limits.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and product groups to establish control ownership.
