Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Group Product Manager for Compliance Automation to lead the vision and multi-year strategy for AI/ML-powered systems that automate sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and risk-based compliance workflows across jurisdictions.

You will build and mentor PM teams, partner with Legal, Trust & Risk, Engineering, and Data Science, and drive regulatory-ready automation while strengthening capabilities and reducing manual effort.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, focused on AI/automation at scale.
• Experience with sanctions screening, AML, or transaction monitoring.
• Proven ability to lead large cross-functional programs and PM teams.
• Strong track record of regulatory alignment and navigating approval processes.
• Experience communicating investment tradeoffs to VP+ and senior leadership.
• Ability to apply generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for the Compliance Automation platform.
• Lead PMs to define, prioritize, and deliver AI/ML-powered compliance capabilities.
• Drive cost optimization by identifying automation opportunities without increasing risk.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Trust & Risk, Engineering, and Data Science.
• Shape integration of AI/ML technologies to strengthen detection and reduce false positives.
• Build relationships with regulators and translate evolving requirements into features.
