Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• Landscape Architect license
• 7+ years of land development engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of municipal review and permitting processes
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Responsibilities

• Lead & mentor team members while fostering employee engagement and professional growth
• Oversee subdivision, land development, and site design projects ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met
• Build and maintain strong client relationships supporting long-term partnerships

We're looking for a Group Manager | Site Design to join our team in State College, PA. As a 100% employee-owned company, you'll have the opportunity to share in our success through our ESOP while building a rewarding career and helping shape the future of our Site Design practice.

In this role, you'll lead a team of engineers and designers while overseeing land development projects from planning through completion. You'll play a key role in delivering quality work, mentoring team members, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

A few key responsibilities...

A few key requirements...

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and/or Landscape Architect license
• 7+ years of experience in land development engineering, including subdivision design, site layout, grading, utility design, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, permitting, and engineering reports

Project management experience and prior team leadership or supervisory experience is also required. Strong knowledge of municipal review and approval processes, ordinance application, and AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential. Experience with project budgeting, proposal development, client management, public presentations, Microsoft Office, and project management systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred.
