Job summary

Terracon is seeking a seasoned supervisor for multiple projects within the department. The role emphasizes timely delivery, adherence to client requirements and company standards, and oversight of staffing, safety, and quality.

You will help plan and execute business development activities to win and execute opportunities while maintaining client relationships. The candidate will supervise proposals and cost estimates, manage staffing with support from leadership, and guide the annual business

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science or geology; 5 years’ practice experience.
Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 9 years’ related experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
Assist with business and client development activities.
Develop and manage staffing plans, recruitment, selection and onboarding.
Prepare and execute annual business plan for the specialty service group.
Oversee metrics: revenue growth, staff chargeability, project billing and collections, profitability.
Understand project risks and protect the company; know risk policies.
Lead safety efforts and promote a safe work environment.
Provide and lead quality monitoring and improvements on projects and proposals.
Ensure consistent quality standards on delivery of projects and proposals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
