Group Homes Program Manager (IDD Population) (equivalent to Residential Director)

Annual Salary Range: 65,000 – 75,000
Reports To: IDD Regional Operations Director
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises multiple Group Home Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication, provide feedback, standardize procedures, and expedite implementation of person-centered plans.
- Provide shift coverage and problem-solve with group home supervisors during acute staff shortages; offer on-call coverage as needed.
- Coordinate with other clinical/professional staff to improve efficiency and workflow for subordinates and staff.
- Assist the Administrator with developing services and overseeing the unit; collaborate with unit investigations for compliance and allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
- Take rotating on-call responsibility.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree preferred.
- Years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible schedule and availability for on-call coverage.
- CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification a plus.
- At least 18 years of age.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Regularly required to lift 20 lbs.; able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.; pull 20 lbs.; perform squats, kneels, crawls, crouches, climbs, and stoops; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Required to regularly stand and walk; demonstrate proficiency in CPR requiring hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.
- Vision requirements include close, distance and peripheral vision; able to talk and hear.

- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
