Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Group Home Supervisor to oversee 1–3 ICF/IDD facilities in Tennessee. You will supervise Direct Support staff, coordinate operations, staffing, and budgeting, and promote a person-centered approach within a nurturing home setting.

Responsibilities include collaborating with clinical staff, monitoring shifts, and ensuring staff meet training requirements while supporting individuals toward their personal goals in a safe environment.

Qualifications

  • Requires a High School Diploma and one year of experience working with the population served and competency in supervisory skills.
  • College training and/or management experience preferred.

Ensures that people supported have a clean and maintained home and yard. Typically reports to the Administrator of a location or a Qualified Professional.Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include: Requires a High School Diploma and one year of experience working with the population served and competency in supervisory skills. College training and/or management experience preferred.In this highly rewarding entry level management role, you will ensure that our clients are able to work towards their individual goals in a healthy, safe and nurturing home environment while participating as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.Job ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures, and expediting the implementation of person-centered plansSpending adequate amounts of time in the residential facility monitoring and providing feedback to staff on all three shifts in interactions and relationships with people supported, maintaining harmony between employees clients while serving as a positive role modelResolving employee issues and conducting performance reviewsEnsuring that employees meet training requirements and attend required eventsMonitoring select budget items and staying within guidelinesMonitoring and providing feedback to employees during all three shifts in interactions and relationships with the people supportedProviding after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotationRequirementsHigh School degree or GED required; college courses in Human Services, Social Work or Management, preferred1 year of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesValid drivers’ license and automotive insuranceFlexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as neededAbility to lift between 20 and 50 lbs. and provide CPR after certificationAbility to pass background check and drug screenCPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plusPre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
