Job summary

RHA Health Services seeks a Residential Home Care Manager to supervise a team of Personal Care Assistants in a group home setting. You will manage operations, staffing and budgets while supporting clients with person-centered plans and goals in a safe, nurturing home environment.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and capable of coordinating across shifts, with CPR certification and a High School Diploma.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and at least 1 year of experience with the population served.
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain it.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate Direct Support staff; manage operations, staffing and budget for assigned facilities.
  • Interview and hire Personal Care Assistants and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
  • Support clients with person-centered plans and goals within a safe, nurturing home environment.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to implement plans and provide feedback.

Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
