Job summary

Abbott House is seeking an Unit Administrator in Irvington, NY to manage a group home and program delivery for SPDD Department. You will oversee daily operations, ensure therapeutic environments, and supervise residence managers while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires organizing, supervising budgets, and participating in policy and training activities to improve service quality. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the group home.
• Manage programming to meet standards for consumers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (Medicaid, SS, OPWDD, Abbott House).
• Supervise and direct residence managers with regular reviews.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment aligned with OPWDD guidance.
• Participate in SPDD management meetings and policy updates.
• Hire, monitor budgets, and oversee petty cash for residences.
• Maintain 4 annual visits to each residence during overnight shifts.
