ICL seeks an Assistant Residence Manager to support the Residence Manager in supervising staff and overseeing clinical and residential services onsite in New York. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, resident safety, and coordination with clinical teams.

The position involves staff training, crisis intervention oversight, quality assurance, and collaboration with community partners to ensure a safe, supportive living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s or Associate in Human Services may substitute for up to 2 years of general experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience providing direct services to people with IDD, including supervisory experience.
• Certifications/Licenses: AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR/First Aid required. Clean, valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Work eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Onsite work location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising staff and overseeing clinical and residential services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe, supportive environment for residents.
• Provide staff training, crisis intervention oversight, quality assurance, and coordination with clinical teams.
• Carry out administrative recordkeeping, equipment maintenance, and visitor reception.
• Promote resident and family involvement in treatment and residence activities.
