Community Mainstreaming Associates in Westbury, NY is seeking a Residence Manager to lead a residential program and ensure safe, supportive services for individuals with I/DD. You will oversee direct care staff, develop ISPs, monitor compliance with OPWDD regulations, and manage budgets and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required/preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Experience supporting individuals with medically complex needs and strong knowledge of OPWDD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of a residential program to ensure safety, well‑being, and personal growth of individuals supported.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee Individual Service Plans (ISPs) in compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency standards.
• Provide leadership to direct care staff, supervise and mentor assistants, and oversee staff training and performance.
• Oversee recruitment, interviewing, and selection of residential staff and ensure adherence to policies.
• Manage emergency situations and high‑pressure incidents with professional judgment.
• Maintain compliance, participate in audits, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
