Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Special Needs House Manager in Peoria, AZ. You will supervise direct support staff, coordinate weekly activities, and ensure adherence to policies while supporting adults or children with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to implement individualized plans, with a focus on safety and compassionate care. A valid AZ driver’s license and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of college preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; prior supervisory experience is required.
• Demonstrates strong boundaries and care for individuals with disabilities.
• Requires valid Arizona driver’s license and current certifications in First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and train all direct support staff assigned to the home.
• Create a family-like home for all residents to thrive and reach potential.
• Develop a daily routine for staff to ensure consistency with structure.
• Ensure staff are up-to-date on training for residents’ needs.
• Drive residents to medical or review appointments or assign staff to do so.
• Carry out resident’s individual plan including habilitation and behavior plans.
• Create activity schedules for recreational activities.
• Ensure nutritional needs are met, create weekly menus, and grocery shop.
• Daily monitoring of medication, program data, logs, and staff schedules.
• Maintain state regulations and company policies.
• Complete Monthly Progress Reports and fund ledgers.
• Complete Monthly Staffing Matrix; fill Monthly Expense Report with receipts.
• Safely use Prevention and Support behavioral interventions when needed.
• Exert physical effort to lift, push, pull, or carry objects as required.
• Possess core values and behave as a role model for residents.
