Job summary

This full-time position requires managing schedules, budgets, and documentation, while collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and community partners to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Program Development and Implementation: design and oversee individualized support plans and programs promoting skill development, social interaction and community involvement.
• Staff Management and Training: recruit, train, supervise staff; ensure shifts are covered; provide evaluations and development; manage morale and training records.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: ensure regulatory compliance; implement QA measures; maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; schedule doctor appointments and document as required.
• Budget Management: oversee group home budget; manage groceries and supplies; process receipts monthly.
• Family and Community Engagement: foster families relationships; engage with community; create monthly activity calendars; coordinate daily programs.
• Crisis Management: develop crisis intervention strategies; assist staff during emergencies; on-call 24/7.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain member progress records; prepare reports; ensure incident reporting and timely PCSP submissions.
• Advocacy and Policy Development: advocate for member rights; stay updated on legislation and best practices.
• Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: attend meetings; coordinate care with healthcare professionals; build relationships with stakeholders.
• Cultural Competence and Communication: ensure culturally sensitive programming; maintain clear communication with staff, management, members and families.
• Member, Home, and Vehicle: ensure member satisfaction and safety; maintain home cleanliness; oversee transportation and vehicle maintenance; complete intake paperwork; implement Behavior Treatment Plans.
