Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring a Direct Support Professional to help individuals live well in residential settings. You will provide daily living support, assist with health needs, and help with community integration in a structured program.

The role is hourly, non-exempt, and requires a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR. Flexible schedule includes evenings and every other weekend, with on-site work in line with policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support: provide assistance per individual service plans including socialization and activities of daily living.
• Records: accurately document progress and maintain confidentiality.
• Health care: assist with medications or self-administration as directed and relay information to nurses.
• Employment responsibilities: attend orientation and staff meetings; follow scheduling and safety policies.
