Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a dynamic Group Class Instructor to lead engaging fitness sessions at client sites in Denver, CO. Classes include dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit, with a strong focus on safety and enjoyment for participants.

The role requires current group fitness certification and CPR/First Aid, with 2+ years of experience preferred. Shifts are Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM, with potential for extra hours.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise classes (dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, circuit).
• Lead energetic and engaging sessions to motivate members.
• Ensure safety and proper form; adapt classes as needed.

About the role

HealthFitness is on the lookout for a dynamic Group Class Instructor to bring the energy to our client site in Denver, CO! This role offers the perfect opportunity to inspire members through fun, effective, and safe group fitness classes. You’ll play a key role in creating an upbeat, motivating fitness experience that members look forward to every time they walk in.

Monday and Thursdays at 5:30PM with possible additional opportunities to earn extra income!

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $45hr - $55/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
