Job summary

HealthFitness in Spencer, Indiana, is seeking a dynamic Group Class Instructor to join our corporate fitness center as an on-call, substitute role. You will deliver engaging group exercise classes—dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit—to members, staying active and inspiring others.

Minimum requirements include current certification from ACE/AFAA/NASM/ACSM/NCCA, CPR/AED and First Aid within 30 days of hire, and 2+ years of instruction experience; onboarding systems familiarity is also

About the role

Group Fitness Instructor (On-Call) – Spencer, IN

HealthFitness is looking for a dynamic Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate fitness center in Spencer, Indiana. Step in when needed to deliver fun, motivating classes that keep participants engaged and coming back for more.

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.

• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.

• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.

• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $25 - $30/class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
