Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead diverse class formats and energize members in a live studio setting. You’ll build relationships with participants, teach engaging routines, and promote Life Time programs while maintaining safety and motivation across sessions.

You will instruct a variety of formats across strength, cardio, boxing/kickboxing, barre, cycle, and yoga. A CPR/AED certification and NASM/ACE/AFAA/AEA certifications help ensure readiness for a dynamic gym

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ year fitness instructor work experience.
CPR/AED certification required.
Group Exercise Certifications: NASM, ACE, AFAA or AEA.
Must be able to lift up to 50–100 lbs and perform class duties.

Responsibilities

Develops positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining classes.
Educates class participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine.
Attentively listens to members, answer questions, and engage in conversation before and after classes.
Cleans and organizes studio space after each class.
Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while ensuring appropriate language.
Promotes Life Time promotions, programs, products, and services while encouraging participation for the Classes at Life Time.
