Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead a variety of classes in a supportive, high-energy studio environment. You will build relationships with participants, promote Life Time programs, and help members achieve their fitness goals with engaging, well-structured sessions.

The role emphasizes safe instruction, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt workouts across formats while maintaining a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of fitness instructor experience.
• CPR/AED Certification required.
• One of NASM, ACE, AFAA, or AEA group exercise certifications required.
• Must be able to perform aerobic activity for class duration.
• Must be able to lift 50–100 pounds and perform class movements.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with class participants by teaching diverse, engaging classes.
• Educate participants on proper form and alternatives.
• Listen to members and respond to questions before/after classes.
• Clean and organize studio space after each class.
• Provide music and ensure appropriate language for classes.
• Promote Life Time programs, products, and services to drive participation.
