Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead diverse classes and energize members in a safe, welcoming studio environment. You’ll teach formats from cardio to strength, promote Life Time programs, and help attendees achieve personal fitness goals through engaging instruction.

As a member of our team, you’ll build positive relationships with participants, monitor technique, and support class attendance while upholding Life Time’s standards for quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Minimum of one of NASM, ACE, AFAA or AEA group exercise certifications.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity and lift 50+ pounds as needed.
• Commitment to safety and high-quality instruction.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining classes.
• Educates participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine.
• Attentively listens to members, answers questions, and engages in conversation before and after classes.
• Cleans and organizes studio space after each class.
• Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while ensuring appropriate language.
• Promotes Life Time promotions, programs, products, and services while encouraging participation for the Classes at Life Time.
