Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead a variety of engaging and educational group classes, promoting fitness and confidence in a safe environment. You will serve as a resource for participants and help drive attendance while showcasing Life Time programs, products, and services.

You will instruct multiple formats and encourage ongoing participation, while maintaining high-energy, music-driven workouts that emphasize form, safety, and community in Durango, Colorado.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of fitness instructor work experience.
• CPR/AED Certification required.
• Minimum one of NASM, ACE, AFAA or AEA group exercise certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining classes.
• Educates class participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine.
• Attentively listens to members, answers questions, and engages in conversation before and after classes.
• Cleans and organizes studio space after each class.
• Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while ensuring appropriate language.
• Promotes Life Time promotions, programs, products, and services while specifically encouraging participation for the Classes at Life Time.
