Life Time Inc. is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead a variety of engaging group fitness classes, empower members, and promote Life Time programs and services in a safe and motivating environment.

You will teach formats spanning strength, cardio, and dance, ensure attendance goals, and foster positive relationships with members to encourage ongoing participation and healthy lifestyles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of fitness instructor work experience.
• CPR/AED Certification required.
• Group Exercise Certifications: NASM, ACE, AFAA, or AEA preferred.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds regularly.
• Ability to perform class-specific exercises.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining classes.
• Educates participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine.
• Attentively listens to members, answers questions, and engages in conversation before and after classes.
• Cleans and organizes studio space after each class.
• Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while ensuring appropriate language.
• Promotes Life Time promotions, programs, products, and services while encouraging participation in the Classes at Life Time.
