Life Time Inc. is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead diverse program formats and promote Life Time products and services.

The role focuses on building strong member relationships, ensuring attendance goals, and delivering entertaining, educational workouts in a safe environment. In this position you will instruct a range of formats such as Strength, Cardio, Boxing/Kickboxing, Barre, Cycle, Yoga, and more, while maintaining class energy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certification required.
• One or more group exercise certifications (NASM, ACE, AFAA, AEA) preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of fitness instructor experience.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for the class duration; includes standing, walking, running, etc.
• Ability to routinely lift 50–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining classes.
• Educates class participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine.
• Attentively listens to members, answers questions, and engages in conversation before and after classes.
• Cleans and organizes studio space after each class.
• Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while ensuring appropriate language.
• Promotes Life Time promotions, programs, products, and services while encouraging participation for the Classes at Life Time.
