Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience leading/instructing fitness classes is preferred.
• National certification in this format is required at hire.
• Ability to teach more than one format is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, energizing group fitness classes as directed by the Fitness Director.
• Build rapport with members and promote wellness and engagement.
• Maintain class attendance records and manage equipment.
• Follow YMCA policies, safety procedures, and report incidents.
• Promote YMCA programs and encourage participation in classes.
