Job summary

Exos, a corporate wellness provider, seeks a Performance Coach to guide clients through fitness programs and group classes in a wellness center setting. You will assess, design, and adjust plans, while delivering high-quality one-on-one coaching and motivation to support health goals.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field, national certification, CPR/First Aid, and at least 6 months of experience in group instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Current certification from NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE preferred.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
• At least 6 months of industry experience, including internships.
• Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for varying fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans.
• Offer one-on-one consultations, training, and motivation to clients.
• Assist with incentive programs, health promotion, and day-to-day fitness facility operations.
• Perform additional duties to ensure smooth operations.
