Job summary

VML Health, part of VML and WPP, seeks a strategic Group Director of Engagement Strategy to lead and inspire its healthcare practice. You will drive omnichannel engagement, mentor senior strategists, build client relationships, and oversee multiple projects across health brands, ensuring radical empathy and performance across channels.

The role is hybrid, with expectations to lead workshops, develop measurement strategies, and contribute to new business pitches while guiding junior teammates

Qualifications

• 7-13 years of experience in market research, strategic planning, and CX in healthcare.
• Proven experience in mentoring teams.
• Deep understanding of omnichannel strategy.
• Strong ability to build senior client relationships.
• Experience in developing and delivering presentations to clients and prospects.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of clients' customers across journeys.
• Oversee engagement and omnichannel strategy development and orchestration.
• Guide Associate Directors and Directors in strategy development.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Client Engagement, Medical, and Creative teams.
• Manage senior client relationships as a strategic partner.
• Lead strategy development on major client engagements and pitches.
