EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC is seeking an experienced Treatment Plant Operator to support the operation and maintenance of a groundwater treatment system at Kirtland Air Force Base. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, process optimization, and collaboration with engineers to ensure system reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in water or groundwater treatment, can troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, maintain pumps, valves, and SCADA systems,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating and maintaining water, wastewater, groundwater treatment, or similar industrial process systems.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience maintaining pumps, motors, valves, controls, instrumentation, and related process equipment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to access and work on a Department of Defense installation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize groundwater extraction and treatment system at Kirtland AFB.
• Monitor performance to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on treatment equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process control issues.
• Collect water samples and maintain accurate records.
• Inspect wells and manage pumps, valves, and meters.
• Utilize SCADA to monitor system performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve issues.
• Assist with after-hours operational needs.
