Job summary

Barrick is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operations Project Manager to join the Water Management Team at the Grants closure site. You will oversee daily groundwater treatment operations, plan and execute projects, and advise on strategic operational and closure actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in mining, construction, or consulting is required.
• Ability to manage multiple groundwater, reclamation, and decommissioning projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day groundwater treatment operations; supervise RO Operator staff.
• Lead projects on groundwater treatment, site reclamation, engineering, construction, and decommissioning; manage scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with site personnel to ensure information flow and shared objectives.
• Prepare and administer consultant/contractor contracts.
• Develop technical reports supporting groundwater reclamation using data, costs, and safety considerations.
• Coordinate with TSF Engineer of Record to ensure TSF stability and safety.
• Organize and schedule water watch call-out activities.
