Barrick is seeking a Water Treatment Plant Operator to work onsite in Grants, NM, operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting an industrial water treatment plant and support systems. The ideal candidate has RO experience and can communicate clearly with management, contractors, technicians, and regulatory personnel.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in water treatment operations, and the ability to lead and mentor maintenance staff while ensuring safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with water treatment plant operations and leadership preferred.
• Preference for Level 2+ Reverse Osmosis certification.
• Minimum 3 years in water treatment operations.
• Strong problem-solving and laboratory skills required.
• Good communication skills required both oral and written.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor the water treatment plant and collection system.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Collect samples and log data from meters and gauges.
• Oversee maintenance staff and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
