Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Groundsperson for full-time work in the Chattanooga area. This role involves working from the ground to clear debris, operate pole saws and woodchippers, and load materials while following safety rules.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and CDL may be preferred. Background checks and drug screening are required; E‑Verify participation is noted. Health insurance and a 401K option are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required. CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce rules at all times.
• Clear work area from debris using saws and equipment.
• Define staging areas and set up/break down materials and tools.
• Feed brush into woodchipper and handle logs, stumps, brush, and debris.
• Operate trucks and equipment as assigned; perform basic maintenance.
