Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a CDL Driver/Groundsperson in Sweetwater, TN to support vegetation management crews. You will work from the ground, clear undergrowth, load debris, and operate chain saws and related tools.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for storm restoration work. Experience in vegetation management or related fields is preferred; a High School diploma or equivalent is desired.

Qualifications

• Must have physical strength and balance for uneven terrain.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Must have a valid Driver's License; Class B CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clear brush and trees from ground level using hand tools and power saws.
• Load/unload trucks with logs and debris; feed into chipper.
• Set up road signs and flag traffic; maintain job-site cleanliness.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed.
