Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Groundsperson to support field crews by clearing brush and trees from ground level and performing site cleanup. The role may require driving, basic vehicle maintenance, and setting up traffic safety measures on job sites.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and the ability to work outdoors year-round, with physical endurance and good communication. A valid driver's license and PPE usage are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in vegetation management, construction or related fields preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Work from the ground and clear undergrowth from right-of-way using saws and pruners.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush and debris and feed brush into chipper.
• Set up and break down road signs; flag traffic to protect employees and the public.
• Drive truck or operate other equipment as assigned and perform basic maintenance.
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards and maintain PPE usage.
