Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Groundsperson for its full-time team in the United States. The role focuses on clearing work areas, operating ground equipment, and supporting safe vegetation management around electrical infrastructure.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and experience in related fields; CDL is preferred. A safety-sensitive role, background checks and drug screening are required. Benefits include health insurance and 401K options.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license required. CDL preferred.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work from ground to keep work area clear of debris using handsaws, pole saws, pruners, and other equipment.
• Define staging areas and set up/break down materials, tools, and equipment as required.
• Load/unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris; feed brush into woodchipper as needed.
• Operate trucks and related equipment; perform basic maintenance and report major repairs.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards and flag traffic when required.
• Able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies.
