Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew by performing ground-based work, clearing brush and trees, and helping with job-site clean-up. You will assist with loading equipment, flagging traffic, and handling basic vehicle maintenance as part of a hands-on field team.

The role requires physical endurance and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. A valid driver’s license is needed, and the position may involve travel for storm restoration efforts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
• Must have and maintain a Driver’s License if hired for a driving position.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clear brush and trees from ground as directed.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush and debris.
• Set up and break down road signs and flag traffic.
• Operate basic maintenance on trucks and equipment and report major repairs.
• Travel for storm restoration work when needed.
