Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services in Cambridge, MN is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew from the ground, clear brush and trees, and perform site clean-up. A valid Driver's License is required.

This full-time role involves operating hand tools, loading materials, setting up road signs, and assisting with storm restoration work as needed. Applicants must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License.
• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Clear brush and trees from the ground as directed and assist with site cleanup.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Operate hand lines to lower limbs and drive trucks or equipment as assigned.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment and report major repairs.
• Set up and remove road signs and flag traffic to protect workers and the public.
• Travel for storm restoration work when required.
