Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in the United States is seeking a Groundsperson to support crews by clearing brush and trees from ground level and performing job-site clean-up. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Essential duties include hazard-free work areas, operating hand tools and small equipment, and assisting with storm restoration tasks as needed. This is a full-time role with benefits including health insurance and 401K.

Qualifications

• Must have physical strength and balance to drag heavy limbs and use saws in uneven terrain.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather and maintain safety practices.
• Must have and maintain a Driver’s License if hired for driving position.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform groundwork to clear brush and trees as directed.
• Load/unload trucks with logs, brush and debris; feed material into chipper.
• Set up road signs and flag traffic to protect workers and the public.
• Drive trucks or operate equipment; perform basic maintenance and report major repairs.
