Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Conway, SC is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew from the ground by clearing brush and trees and performing site clean-up. A valid driver’s license is required and travel may be necessary for storm restoration work.

The position involves operating hand tools and equipment, loading materials, and ensuring safety protocols on job sites. Full-time, with benefits and a health insurance option.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Ability to operate, maintain PPE and safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and enforce safe practices.
• Clear brush and trees from right-of-way using hand tools.
• Load/unload trucks with logs and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Lower limbs with hand lines and equipment.
• Set up/repair road signs; flag traffic for safety.
