Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Georgia seeks a Groundsperson/Driver to support crews by clearing brush and trees and keeping job sites clean. A valid Driver's License is required, and you will drive a chip truck between sites.

Responsibilities include loading debris, operating hand tools, and ensuring safety during storm restoration work. This full-time position offers health benefits and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Must possess physical strength and balance to drag heavy limbs and use chainsaws in uneven terrain.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to hear verbal instructions from a distance.
• Must obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Must wear required PPE.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License if hired for driving duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce safe work practices and rules.
• Clear debris and brush from job sites and load/unload trucks.
• Use saws and pruners to clear undergrowth and brush.
• Operate and assist with chipper and truck loading.
• Set up and break down road signs; flag traffic for safety.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment.
