Qualifications

• Must be physically capable to drag heavy limbs and operate chain saws in uneven terrain.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/first-aid certification and wear PPE.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license if position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and enforce rules on site.
• Clear debris and brush using hand saws, pole saws, pruners and other tools.
• Load/unload trucks with logs, brush and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Set up and break down road signs; flag traffic to protect workers and the public.
• Operate trucks and equipment as directed; perform basic maintenance on vehicles.
