Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Groundsperson to support vegetation management and storm-response crews. The role involves working from the ground to clear undergrowth, load materials, and perform site clean-up at various locations.

You will follow safety rules, manage tools, and assist with equipment as needed. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent; a valid driver’s license, ability to travel for storm restoration work, and the capacity to pass a background check and drug screen are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must obtain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License if driving.

Responsibilities

• Clear brush and trees from right-of-way using handsaws and pruners.
• Load and unload trucks with logs and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Set up and break down road signs; flag traffic for safety.
• Drive truck or operate other equipment as assigned.
• Perform general clean-up of job sites after work.
