Job summary

NE Property Management is seeking a Groundskeeper for La Ventana Apartments in Lubbock, TX. This hands-on outdoor role focuses on maintaining premier curb appeal across our multi-family portfolio and collaborating with an on-site service team.

You will gain experience in landscaping, basic repairs, and safety compliance while enjoying a supportive environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of on-site multi-family maintenance or groundskeeping experience.
• Knowledge of safe use of hand tools, dollies, ladders, blowers, trimmers, and pool testing gauges.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication.
• Commitment to OSHA, I-9 compliance, Fair Housing rules, and safety first.

Responsibilities

• Maximize property curb appeal by keeping walkways and grounds clean.
• Maintain recreation and pool hubs, including decks and tiles.
• Detail landscape beds and clear sidewalks of debris and clippings.
• Execute vacancy trash-outs and prep vacated units for make-ready.
• Support routine service requests and perform minor repairs.
• Assist with painting and heavy-duty projects as needed.
• Uphold safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Distribute resident notices across the property.
