Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Porter to maintain community grounds in compliance with OSHA standards and safety policies. The role requires frequent outdoor work, equipment maintenance, and coordination with a property manager.

The candidate will water plants, perform lawn care tasks, assist with exterior maintenance, and participate in emergency standby coverage as needed. A valid license and strong communication are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow handwritten/printed work orders and complete handwritten/typed reports.
• Practice OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate hand/power tools safely.
• Possess a government issued state ID or valid driver’s license if required by location.
• Must have good attendance and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Water plants daily in common areas and tend to new foliage as directed by management.
• Mow, trim, fertilize, rake lawns, trim shrubs, remove weeds and spray insecticides as needed.
• Paint exterior surfaces, clean and maintain grounds, light fixtures, fences and gates as required.
• Assist with pool upkeep, inventory control and maintenance of grounds equipment.
• Work standby emergency schedule for evenings, weekends and holidays; report unusual situations to supervisor.
