Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain lawns, fields, walks and parking areas for the client locations in Alabama. The role focuses on safe, efficient grounds care and adherence to site rules.

You will mow, edge, prune, apply lawn care products, and perform routine repairs as part of daily duties. A minimum of three years' experience and a high school diploma are required; ability to lift 50 lbs and work rotating shifts may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience as a groundskeeper.
• Familiar with grounds maintenance for facilities of similar size and scope.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate golf carts.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns with hand or power mower.
• Edge around walks, flower beds and walls.
• Prune shrubs and trees to shape.
• Spray lawn, shrubs and trees with fertilizers and pesticides.
• Rake and bag leaves, clean grounds and remove litter.
• Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs.
• Water lawn and shrubs.
• Repair fences, gates, walls and walks.
• Operate tractor attachments for grounds maintenance.
• Sharpen tools and follow safety rules.
