Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain lawns, landscapes, and exterior facilities at a client site in Atlanta. The role involves mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, irrigation, and equipment operation, with a strong emphasis on safety and upkeep of outdoor spaces.

The position requires 3 years of groundskeeping experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends. Training on new equipment will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of groundskeeping experience.
• Familiar with grounds maintenance for facilities of similar size and scope.
• Multi-skill across landscaping, irrigation and equipment operation.
• Willing to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate golf carts and other motor vehicles.
• Must be willing to continue training on latest equipment and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, fields, walks, pathways, roads and parking lots at the client site.
• mow lawns using hand mower or power mower.
• Trim and edge around walks, flower beds and walls.
• Prune shrubs and trees to shape growth or remove damaged parts.
• Spray lawn, shrubs and trees with fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides.
• Rake and bag or burn leaves.
• Clean grounds and remove litter.
• Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs.
• Water lawn and shrubs with hose or sprinkler system.
• Repair fences, gates, walls and walks.
• Clean drainage ditches and culverts.
• Operate tractors with attachments for maintenance.
• Sharpen tools like weed cutters and edging tools.
• Follow all health and safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties to support services.
