CLASSIFICATION TITLE: GROUNDSKEEPER II
FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT
Pay: $18.80 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 6am- 2:30pm; some weekend work is required, as needed.
Note: The Groundskeeper II position includes mowing, weed eating, and trash pickup.
You will be placed on a 1-year probationary period starting your first day of hire.
Purpose of Classification
The purpose of this classification is to perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled landscaping work. The Groundskeeper is responsible for managing the grounds and facilities, and other activities related to public usage. Duties include assisting extension agents with demonstrations (turf, orchard, vineyard, gardens), grounds maintenance, operating equipment, and related tasks. Reports to the Ag Center Director.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED plus 3 years of experience in grounds maintenance, equipment operation, or equivalent training. Must possess a valid Tennessee driver’s license.
