Job summary

Cottonwood Residential in Nashville, TN seeks a dependable Groundskeeper to maintain lawns, pathways, and common areas across our properties. You will remove trash, sweep and pressure wash surfaces, and assist with basic gardening and light repairs to keep the community welcoming.

This role requires clear English communication, physical stamina for long shifts, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs or ladders, and navigate uneven terrain.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers and interpret safety manuals.
• Available to work on-call during nights/weekends and company events.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and navigate difficult terrain.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and litter from property grounds.
• Sweep and pressure wash pathways and buildings.
• Perform basic gardening and weeding tasks.
• Clean windows and common furniture.
• Handle general maintenance related to building and grounds.
