Job summary

Park Center Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeper in Nashville, TN to maintain outdoor spaces across multiple properties. The role supports a maintenance team and reports to the Regional Property Manager, ensuring safety and attractiveness of all grounds for residents and visitors.

The position requires outdoor work, valid driver's license, and previous groundskeeping experience. Compensation is $22/hour for a 37.5-hour week, with a full-time schedule Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license and will be required to drive to multiple locations.
• Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscaping, preferably in a non-profit or similar setting.
• Knowledge of horticulture, plant care and landscaping techniques.
• Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Eager to learn.
• Committed to excellent customer service.
• Ability to receive constructive feedback and incorporate feedback into practice.

Responsibilities

• Mow and maintain lawns and landscape beds.
• Water plants and mulch trees.
• Prune shrubs and trees and fertilize as needed.
• Monitor plant health and address pests.
• Operate groundskeeping equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of walkways and trash.
• Report major maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Coordinate groundskeeping with staff and events.
